From inception, the company philosophy has been to invest in the latest technology and provide our employees training and education so that all employees will reach their optimum level of contribution to the profession of land surveying.

Barlow Surveying Inc. is a provider of Land Surveying services to the energy sector and to various other clients such as governments, land developers, construction companies, private clients, the forest industry and others throughout North Western Alberta.

Due to expansion we currently have requirements for project managers, professional land surveyors and/or articling students to fill several roles and initiatives.

Legal Survey Technologist

This is a Full-Time position in High Prairie Alberta at $21.75 hourly @ 40hrs per week.
Requirements: College Diploma in Survey Technology, experience with Legal Land Surveying in Alberta is an asset. Must be able to use Micro-Survey 2005, Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003. The ideal candidate will be able to learn quickly.
 

Party Chief

This is a Full-Time position at $17.00 - $ 22.00 D.O.E. hourly @ 40hrs per week.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience with Legal Land Surveying, and Field Computations. Must be able to operate Trimble GPS, Nikon Total Station and have Basic Personal Safety Equipment.
Oil Field experience is an asset but not required.
Barlow Surveying will pay for the acquisition of all safety certificates required.

Draftsperson

This is a Full-Time position at $15.00 - $ 18.00 D.O.E. hourly @ 40hrs per week.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience with Legal Land Drafting, and Computations (Field Experience an asset). Must be able to use Micro-Survey 2005, Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003.
Barlow Surveying will pay for the acquisition of all safety certificates required.

Chain-person / Field Assistant

This is a Full-Time position at $13.00 hourly @ 40 hours per week. Experience preferred but will train the right person.
Requirements: Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 23 kgs. Must be able to travel (expenses are paid) and be willing to learn. Must have Basic Personal Safety Equipment.
Barlow Surveying will pay for the acquisition of all safety certificates required.

Applicants for all jobs must be able to relocate to High Prairie Alberta.
Barlow Surveying Inc. is willing to cover some or all (reasonable) relocation costs for prospective employees and their families.
